On October 2, 2025, more than 150 physicians, pharmacists, students, and pharmacy professionals from across Cambodia participated in the "PPM MedTalks" online seminar, this time dedicated to stress management. Organized by the PPM sales team, the session was hosted via Zoom by Dr. Uch Chanpiseth, a recognized expert in the field.
At the outset, Tech Symo, PPM's Sales Director in Cambodia, emphasized the universal nature of stress, which affects individuals, families, and organizations, undermining social cohesion and productivity. For PPM, engaging on this issue means going beyond simply providing medications: it also involves sharing knowledge, experience, and tools with healthcare professionals and the public.
Dr. Uch Chanpiseth emphasized that stress is a normal physiological response that mobilizes the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. However, over time, it can lead to anxiety, depression, or sleep and eating disorders. A practical demonstration of "4-step" breathing techniques allowed participants to experience concrete exercises to release tension.
The seminar generated real enthusiasm. Numerous questions asked live or sent via messages allowed for in-depth discussions. At the end of the session, Dr. Kuy Virith, PPM's head of promotion, presented two French products distributed by PPM: Magnesium Mg2, recommended for early-stage stress, and Calcibronat for moderate stress. Through this interactive and innovative format, PPM confirms its role as a leading provider of continuing education for the Cambodian medical community.
